I Do: Teresa & Matthew

This past weekend I had the extreme honor of shooting the beautiful wedding of Teresa and Matthew. I've known Teresa since I was two and seeing her transform into the princess that she's always wanted to be was an absolute joy.

Seeing the love that the two of them share simply took my breath away! Having endured a deployment, this wedding was even more sweet for everyone involved.

Matt's first view of her elicited the most beautiful reaction!

What a gorgeous church!

It's official!! The newest Mr. and Mrs. Smith!

It truly was a Cinderella fairy tale.

That's some serious hang time!

Look closely, those are their ring fingers!

A simply beautiful reception.

This party really knew how to get down!

Mother and son!

Such beautiful rings!

It was such a mravelous, perfect day. I am honored to have been able to capture the fairy tale coming true!

This past weekend I traveled all the way to southern California for a wedding photography workshop. It was put on by the wonderful Gavin and Erin of Gavin Wade Photographers. Being able to attend this workshop truly was a blessing and I cannot possibly rave enough about it, or about Gavin and Erin themselves! I learned so much and I can already see and feel the tides of change rolling in.

Day one of the workshop was a very intense nine hours day of all business talk, so I won't bore you with that! Day two is what you guys will be interested in: The shooting!

We headed over to the Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park for a shoot with one of Gavin and Erin's past couples Matt and Rene. They were dressed to the nines, completely at home in front of the camera (not to mention very much in love!), and the light was simply stunning!

Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!

On August 3rd I had the pleasure to photograph my good friend's wedding in Lima, Ohio. While I wasn't able to stay and capture the reception the next day, the ceremony and couple's portraits were wonderful and relaxed- and the couple is very much in love! Congratulations guys! I know you'll have many, many years of happiness!
